PANP Highlighting Karen Coyne, MSN, CRNP during the “Year of the Nurse 2020!”
Posted almost 5 years ago by Adele Caruso
Karen Coyne, MSN, CRNP
Karen Coyne is a nurse practitioner with over twenty years of healthcare experience. She practiced at Penn Medicine as an adult nurse practitioner in the Bariatric Program full-time until her retirement and continues to work on a per diem basis. She also has expertise in internal medicine, renal transplant and diabetes management.
Karen is a devoted PANP member and staunch advocate for NP practice! Even in her “new phase of life” which includes teaching underprivileged students to read and learning French, Karen is routinely present at our meetings and advocacy events to mentor and support our regional group. She studies the Philadelphia Inquirer and regularly “fires off” letters to the editorial board advocating and defending our position! Thank you, Karen!
Please join PANP in recognizing Karen Coyne for her commitment to PANP and advocacy efforts during this “Year of the Nurse 2020”!
